Francis X. Murphy is a seasoned insurance executive with over six decades of experience in the property and casualty industry. He began his career with GEICO in 1963, laying the foundation for a lifetime dedicated to innovation, client service, and leadership in insurance and risk management.

Over the years, Mr. Murphy has held a variety of sales roles with Allstate Insurance Company, where he earned a reputation for integrity, expertise, and mentorship within the organization and among peers nationwide. He later co-founded The Murphy Agency, a family-run independent brokerage specializing in comprehensive personal and commercial P&C coverage.

Building on that success, he launched FXM Risk, a specialty insurance advisory and wholesale/retail brokerage firm that operates as a licensed Managing General Agency (MGA) in all 50 states.

Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Insurant, Mr. Murphy oversees strategic initiatives for one of the industry's leading lease guarantee insurance programs. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to advancing insurance solutions that balance protection, performance, and innovation.

Andrew has built and scaled specialty insurance programs nationwide, with deep experience in Surplus Lines, MGU operations, and large property operator partnerships. Ed Lay brings over 20 years of senior executive experience across both private and public international companies. He founded The Emeritus Group in 1995, initially providing IT systems design and development services to private clients and Fortune 500 corporations.

In 2001, Emeritus pivoted toward the emerging U.S. Life Settlement industry, becoming the first company to develop a comprehensive life settlement portfolio econometric analysis and management platform, Paradigm, in 2004.

Today, Emeritus is recognized as a leader in the design and development of insurance-linked securities and life settlement structured portfolios. Its affiliated firm, LifeStar Advisors, extends that expertise by focusing on policy sourcing for international institutional investors.

Earlier in his career, Lay held senior management positions with NV Philips (Eindhoven, Netherlands) and Affiliated Distributors (King of Prussia, PA), and later served as Chairman and CEO of Emeritus Capital Partners, LLC in New York.

He is a long-standing member of the Illuminating Engineering Society of North America and has served as an advisor to the University of Tennessee (UTK) College of Arts and Sciences since 1974.
